Seasonal Care
During the first year, water deeply once a week. After establishment, reduce to twice a month during dry periods to encourage deep root development.
Apply a 2-3 inch layer of organic mulch around the base of the tree. This helps retain moisture, suppress weeds, and protect the trunk from lawn mowers.
Prune lightly in late winter to maintain shape. Fertilize once a year in early spring with a balanced organic fertilizer to support healthy growth.
